new clutch just arrived by UPS

new clutch is in, sort of a weird design but let the critics tell what they think.

Pressure plate looks the same as mine. My clutch disc had three arms(?), each with a pair of full metallic friction pads front and rear. Looks like yours will do the job just fine. Happy wrenching.

this new one is different but everything checks out. now to get better and find time to finish the tranny work.

I got mine relined for $150 its not the same as yours too?

yeah this one is a new manufactured replacement for the old surplus clutch's, this one from saturn surplus plus s/h $131.00 .

So the clutch only has a couple of "pads" spaced apart that engage the flywheel?
I am used to the truck, car ones I have replaced in my vehicles being a solid ring with grooves cut in.
