First, Welcome to the site.

Second, learn how to use this site's search function. Lots of great people have spent a lot of time putting sticky notes up here and sharing information for old timers and newbies (like myself).

Third, some people will suggest you buy your first one from someone who already has one and has done all the paperwork. Some will say go for it and buy one off of GL's site. I've done both now and each has their good and bad points.

Inspect the machine you want to buy first and if you can afford it and it has all the features you want then buy/bid on it.

Thanks to the GL guys in Smyrna, TN and kipman in OH I've had two great purchases and drives home with a Deuce.

PS As I write this I'm sitting a mile from a yard full of stuff at Ft Meade. :)

Welcome to the site hedelta. Not much different than the tracks except that pesky steering wheel and the round things that need air. Chances are, if you can work on a tracked vehicle, you can work on these.

Way easier than tracked stuff! You won't need to remove the engine to do anything to it. Welcome! Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Where exactly is Glen Arm, MD? I am in MD and have never heard of it. I am in MD and would enjoy talking trucks some time. I've owned many, many M35s over the years. I believe it was around 20 M35s the last time I counted! Contact me...I'd be happy to share everything I know.
