I assume you are referring to the holes in the rim, no I haven't seen one like that. I do have 2 on my deuce that have what look like big rivets in it.....thinking about switching those 2 rims out.

That would be a PITA to check inner tire pressure with that rim on the outside. My hand just does fit through the holes in the standard rim.

Any pro or con to the wheels with rivets. I've got 2 or 3 on my truck.

DieselBob,

Not known, I just saw that they were different and was thinking of switching them strictly for cosmetic reasons (they'll match the other 8 rims).

This wheel did come from Camp Grayling, It looks good on my 105, different anyway, need to get another to have a matched set, I have two rivited wheels on my truck, I think they are just as good as the non riveted ones.

A guy I was buying tires from said the riveted wheels are highly sought after...not sure why. Are the riveted tires era specific or something?

The riveted rims are nice cause you can take the centers out easily and have close to a balanced assembly. I am taking my riveted rims and hemtt rims to the machine shop to have the deuce centers put in the the hemtt rims.

Are those the wheels that usually come on the four wheeled hydraulic wagon-cart things that I keep seeing on GL?? They're never duals, and so wouldn't need the holes for air, but I assume they haul something heavy, so the wheels might need to be stronger???
