New door pins or bolts?

Ever since I swapped doors and mirrors, my door hinge pins have been working loose, leaving my mirror brackets rattling . So I'm wondering - do I try new pins (meaning my pins are worn) or do I try the bolt mod that has been discussed here before (meaning the hinges are worn) ?

I'm tempted to just replace the hinges and pins, but the passenger side door gave us so much grief I don't want to mess with it unless I absolutely have to.

Thoughts?

I tried a bolt (with threads below the hinge) and it worked pretty good. Dman has a thread about drilling the hinges and using plastic bushings if they are worn.

After countless broken hinge bolts, seized up hinges and rattling doors, I quit going the purist route and got some of the stainless bolts and bushings from ODI. It required drilling out the hinges and the mirror supports but man are the doors smooth and solid. No creaking or anything. I hate the sight of the stainless but wow, they work great. I need to do the hood hinges as well.
