New M1008 Owner From Alaska

Hello From Alaska!
I'm a new owner of a 85 M1008. Really excited about this truck and pump I found this forum. The truck has 27,000 original miles on it. It's set up with 3 Arctic heaters. I was looking for suggestions on a good lift to go with. I was thinking 4". Can u fit 35's with a 4" lift on these trucks? Kinda want to keep it as simple as possible. Open for all suggestions, I'm new to these trucks. Thanks Guys looking forward to gain some knowledge.

Well, welcome! Can't help you on the lift, but here are a few general tips:

Make sure you read the Wiki and browse through the Helpful Threads.

You'll want to do the Doghead Mod, of course.

I used a Rough Country 6 inch lift, 16.5 X 8.25 wheels from summit racing, and 37 inch hmmwv tires. All that is not terribly expensive. Only other thing i would suggest to you is do crossover steering. It is worth every penny you spend on it.
