Hi guys,

bought myself a 1985 M1009 and like to say hello to the community. Forum is great help for me. Live in Germany south east. Contact to other CUCV owners appreciated. Right now, i modifiy the car to get the german authority approval.

Meldet euch ! Erfahrung oder Tips zur Eintragung "rote Blinker" wären toll. Danke

Servus Sascha,

yes, mine as well.
Did you get approval or just drive without ?
Don't want to mount extra flashers nor i want to be picked out at every traffic control.
Front brushing is a problem either.

Gruß - Flumsi

The M1009 (or Blazer) seems to be a serious threat to traffic safety in Germany.
lightings, flashers, mufflers, brush guard, window glass, ...
But we keep trying !

Hi Flumsi,
My M1009 is on German roads since 1994 and the signal flasher never was a problem. The brushguard is illegal, but still in the truck. Every two years i put it off the truck for vehicle inspection.
