My brother and i just went in 50/50 on this '88 m35a2c.
Our 1st MV. He is a Vietnam era vet, i am younger. we love the truck..
A couple of weeks in our care. i joined this fine group for more more info and the like.

I see the lower fender heater scoop and straight stack(flap added), like an AF truck from the last batches in the late 80's.

Does it have a blue warranty data plate on the dash(passenger side)?

seller said it was an AF vehicle, tan under the OD.. we'll do the paint soon.

Blue warranty tag.. yes. ser# does have the 1040.

The mirrors are the pre "West Coast" style mirrors, and not original to a 1988 truck. Thats what threw me off.

Welcome! And a fine looking truck I may add. If you have the dual MC and Airpack you'll be happy and have a whole lot more piece of mind when braking!

You can see the forward support bracket for the West Coast Mirrors on the truck. Someone must have wanted them and swapped them out.
