Welcome from Maryland, USA. As german m1008 pointed out, not much left of the M1028, but a nice truck indeed .

A couple of questions, did they leave data plates on the door frame? and you appear to be wearing a helmet in the first pic. sir, is there a story behind that?

Welcome Alex, I don't see much of a M1028, what did they keep? - the transfer case shift boot?. Other than that it is a nice Chevy pickup.

Bienvenidos! My grandparents are from La Coruna & Barcelona and I spent a few summers there growing up. How is the Prado museum? A very distant relative but I did not get any of the piacsos or money...... :-(

Welcome! Cool truck.

Hello everybody, it´s a second hand truck and the cherry color is not my favorite but its a good paint work.
Also the truck have a Turbo Banks install, soo they leaves data plates on the door.
And the helmet...........it´s for a funny 1/4 mille race with my friend.
Nice place La Coruña y Barcelona. The prado museum is beautiful museum, i visited 3 times.

One photo of the funny race.........3min53 sec jajaja.

......maybe you have some pictures that say it is a M1028?
......maybe you share them with us?
In my opinion the color is not so bad.

This is the original front grille before restoring, the front tow hook and original wheels.

The color is not bad, but i prefer original green.

Don't let these guys give you a hard time, you have a beautiful truck! They don't all need to be restored back to military condition.

I personally like how it was prettied up. It lived its life serving the US Military, and now it gets to enjoy retirement looking better than it ever has!

Beautiful truck!
