Recently bought MEP003a 1982 year and took it to my office grid shop in northern Wisconsin two weeks ago. Hasn’t been run in years, I installed 2 batteries and it fired up at 30degrees. Ran it for over 24 hours cycling the old fuel out. Going to bring it back home to SE Wisconsin and give it the going over. I love this genny

Well on my last attempt at starting it the starter won’t engage flywheel -3 degrees. I suspect starter lockout. And since I fell off a table hanging my gator hide on the ceiling and breaking 3 ribs I couldn’t bring the genny home this trip🤦🏻‍♂️. It was more dangerous killing the thing than hanging on ceiling.
