Just bought my first M35A2 from a gov auction site .The truck is about fifty miles from my home. it cranked right up first try when i checked it out. Will try to recover it sept.5. wish me luck. I am bringing a trailer to haul back. Dont want to take any chances

Thanks i wasn't to keen on the red color but i plan on repainting later. Any suggestions on the color and where is a good place to get the paint? Thanks

Welcome to the site! Personally, I like the original colors, green, camo, etc. You may have some luck with your local paint store.

Nice lookin paint on that there Deuce and a half, JW! I think that will blend in nicely!!

I might have a rim and tire or two at the house, but won't be home until the 18th, if you can wait that long. I don't know of anyone close by that has any...Orange or Lafayette is the closest. As far as new tires, I had a little bird tell me that the big truck tire place at the corner of I10 and 108 (next to the little truckstop casino, before Graingers) has 4 that they got in for someone and the sale fell through. You can stop by and see, but be forewarned that they are on the gold standard. I also have a line on someone to change tires, if you do not want to do them yourself.

You can try South City paint and ask for Dan for the primer and such. I would suggest Rapco for the paint though, if you are going to do a 3 colour camo using CARC 383.

I have several spares if you don't find one. It may be ugly but it looks like you're about to solve that...lol.

Welcome to the site and the addiction. You could buy a M105A2 trailer from Ft Polk for <200 and have 2 spares since the rims and tires are the same. The ones recently sold have had nearly new tires.

If you need other parts, come to Tim's LA Rally next year in Ponchatoula. Come even if you don't need parts.

Hey JWM, I was competing against ya there. I too plan to loadout on the 5th so we should coordinate efforts. I also got a truck filled with stock tires and rims so if you need a few..

I'm glad you inspected that truck in person. She tried to turn over but batteries were weak for me. I don't remember if she had brakes or not. The rear bumper was modified too if I remember right.
