Thank you all! Gen is up and running great. Another quick question. How clean is the sinewave on these generators? I am having a problem with a new solar charger. It's not acting right and putting out faults. The company Cotek is trying to put the blame on my generator. I can't believe it is the generator, as it runs everything else perfectly including electronics and my other solar chargers.
Thanks all
Regards
For generator power, it should be quite clean.

What model Cotek do you have? Have you double checked voltage and frequency for what the Cotek is expecting (on the 1030, and the settings on the Cotek)?

Do you have any other loads on the circuit besides the Cotek solar/generator charger? Do you have more than one Cotek inverter charger on the same circuit? Do you have any EMI filters on the Cotek charger?

Some solar chargers, especially ones equipped for grid tied usage can be very finicky about frequency stability, though Cotek claims some pretty wide tolerances.

FWIW: If you have more than one charger, the chargers may be generating enough EMI noise to be interfering with each other.

All the best, 2PbFeet
