I know someone has asked this question before but I'm new to this forum, what could cause my M1008 to have a slight miss when cold, but goes away after the engine gets warm. bought this truck last year to use as a farm vehicle but now want to fix it up, too nice a truck to beat it up hauling hay. this truck just drives out great, other than the miss when cold, :driver:

Most likely you need a glow plug, probably should find it before it cooks the rest of them. You may have a weak injector and as the engine warms, it is not as noticeable. The 6.2 is pretty rough and ragged sounding cold anyway, they really do not purr like the 5.9 Cummins guys enjoy. Glen

I have posted before that I would rather drive a M1008 or M1028 than about any vehicle I have ever driven, I am getting that way with the M1009. They just seem to fit nice and drive nice. When I weigh what they are capable of against what they cost to run, it is pretty hard to beat. My life is a lot slower now than it was 20 or 30 years ago..... maybe I have more appreciation for what I see these days. Glen
