They weren't developed for the masses, they are implements of war....I hear the same thing about weapon sales.
we are lucky we can still by M1 Garand and carbines from the Govt, and soon...M1911A1's for the first time in 40yrs or more.

All facts well understood and accepted. I'm just saddened to think my son may not have the same opportunities to purchase old green/tan iron when he is my age. Future generations may ultimately rely on those of us who where able to buy and restore MV's today for their rolling stock.

and there will be few of those left as they rust away, or get bobbed as the M35's did and do.
