Does it actually have controls at both ends? It seems to be set up for the large cab to run forward, judging by mud flaps, brush bar, lights, etc.

From what I remember it can be driven from either cab!

if it can complete the Dakar..... then its not stupid for sure. Think this did the Dakar two or three times. If recall right they did this cause it was easiest way to do a twin engine setup.
