Ok I found a new supplier and was goin to get some prices to some parts on my m35a2. This is the message I sent the guy:

Ok and here was his response :

those are your NSN numbers witch dont tell me what i need to know.. I need your REF or MFG number found after the NSN number in your TM

All I see as far as numbers are : NSN, SMR CODE, CAGEC, and PART NUMBER

I'm I missing something here?

He's telling you he is not a military supply clerk. He needs the manufacturer's part number to be able to find items. NSN's don't do him any good. If you are looking for deuce parts, you need to download the cross-reference sticky in the deuce forum, which will give you the part numbers that he needs to be able to fill your order.

Recommend you call George at White Owl. He is in Kinston, NC. His email is: George Kivett gkivett@whiteowl.com. He is a great guy to deal with. There are other suppliers for sure, but I have found George easy to work with.

Any decent MV parts supplier should know what a NSN is and how to XREF it. A MFG's CAGE Code wont do much to help either.

I'd find another supplier.. There are plenty out there.
