Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
.It's hard to tell in the video. Is it an air whistling sound, or a brakes screeching sound?
Doesn't look like you were going very fast when it was happening. Can you walk alongside it while someone drives it, to listen and pinpoint it? Can you recreate it just by revving the engine, or trying to drive gently against the parking brakes?
Also, why is the video marked "Age Restricted"?

definitely not brake related ..it occasionally whistles at idle...no change in either air psi gauge,.I tried to locate the noise from outside ,it appears to be near the bottom of the engine..but of course as I get closer to pinpointing the source it stops, flips me a bird, then starts again as I walk away....it appears my 1078 has a warped sense of humor. It's hard to tell in the video. If the wastegate is not the issue, pull the turbo output hose. Look inside. If the turbo output hose is not new, replace it. Mine was flaking inside and would not seal, causing a whistle sound. Somewhere on here is a video of the sound.the sound is coming from/near the turbo..hmmmmm
Wastegate air line Blown diaphragm in the wastegate if you spray it with soap water it should change tune when you hit it.
How much soapy water would it need to change the tune to AC/DC or maybe even Metallica? Maybe just a tone change is ok too.
thank you..I don't believe it's a serious issue..but more of an annoyance...If the wastegate is not the issue, pull the turbo output hose. Look inside.
