Add any major name brand diesel fuel additive (911 ie). Technically, nothing is needed, but that's only true if you consume it imediately and live in a perfect world.

The long answer is too long to discuss here for me.

This thread inspired me to grab my fuel transfer tank from the farm and go fill it up. Put 75 gallons of on road diesel at $2.49 a gallon. I could have driven 30 miles and bought some off road fro $2.12, but not worth it. Little Kubota BX at the house struggled like crazy with 75 gallons.
