Oil seal conditioners-

Has anyone used seal conditioners in the deuce motor?Have used them in our old pumps and ranch trucks here with success over the years.

Yes,fuel conditioners as well.The o rings in the injection pump can (will)make life harder for sure.Not looking forward to standing on my head this spring to deal with IP issues.We have used 205 RE SEAL in crankcases on most of our older trucks , pumps and tractors here and it has kept things up and running.Even externally treated fork seals and wipers on my mountain bike using an i-dropper to address leakage issues.Just an experiment that has kept those forks dry now for three summers of hard riding.Dried up the seals and gear box on my large horizontal band saw as well, thats been five or six years now.

I've never had good luck with those "seal additives" myself. Once the rubber seals start to go, they just go. I usually replace "Butyl" rubber seals with "Nitrile" or "Viton". If they make one, the "silicone" seals are the best. There called "flouraelastom" something. I'll look up the proper name.
The name is "fluoroElastomers". "Fluorosilicone" is a good one as is "Simriz" . They stand up the best to oil and fuel products.
