Rotella or whatever other quality diesel oil is cheaper. Running 15W-40 but seriously considering going to 5W-40. Purolator Pure One filter (I get them for all my cars in bulk). Change every 6 months (which for me is about 1000 miles).

your choice of 15w 40

What is everyone running in there 6.2 for oil? weight / brand
I run the 15w 40 Rotella T
8 quarts OR (2 gallons that includes filter)
PH 5 Fram, or Napa Gold,
or Wix. Get a filter that has anti drain back valve...
The military ran CASTROL 15w 40 Bulk Fleet oil with[thumbzup]
(Fram PH 13 Originally) no anti drain back valve is all!
now it's Fram PH 5 OR the Napa Gold Filter with anti drain back valve.
Don't waste your money on the super thin synthetic diesel approved oil weights. Unless you have rebuilt your motor with new seals and have a turbo installed. You pretty much can run whatever 15w 40 with any filter.
I have found old but unused Fram ph 13 filters kicking around and used them,
why waste a perfectly fine filter?
