I have a cucv 6.2 diesel 1986.
I have developed a small oil leak from a rusty spot.
We are going to clean it up and weld it.
If that is not last, does anyone know where I can find and oil pan?
GMC does not make them anymore.

I used this on my oil pan. It outlasted the car. The repair was a rusty spot about 5 inches long that got that way from a nearby exhaust pipe. I still have the new pan I never got around to replacing (not a 6.2 sorry)

Stuff is basically epoxy with some fiberglass cloth. I just drained the oil and hit the spot with brake clean and a brush. Quick and easy.
