Why would that stuff need mutilated in the first place? Cant you also buy the same items in running or almost running condition that dont require mutilation?

The ones that require mutilation such as these do not require EUCs as they are not vehicles or weapons platforms, or whatever after mutilation. I would be happy to fill out an EUC to be able to get 5 SECMs at scrap value. Of course I would be happier if I had the opportunity to do it at Ft Sam or Ft Hood where I didn't have to drive 3.5 hours 1 way.

Don't get me started on why you have to cut the legs on a deuce ring-mount (they're just metal pipes for crying out loud - yeh, yeh, I know, weapons platform yada yada, yada).

am I missing something??? these are the same trucks that we already have on the road.....it appears that someone has the ability to spare them at will....right?

The good looking body parts mite cut down on the sell of the cheap replacement junk from across the water.Would not want to offend them.
