I love seeing the youngling partaking with such enthusiasm, makes me miss mine being young.

I really like that green tarp interior covering on the doors, very clever! I'll keep that trick in mind for the future.

The reason the truck is desert tan is my son asked me to paint it that way, so I did.

Yesterday, out of the blue, my son says "I think the truck would be better black." So today happened...







Out came the airless sprayer and Sherwin-Williams Tri-corn Black in a matte base...



And 3 hours later...

Some pics of the installed doors I got from @Buckshot Garage . Total assembly time was about 8 hours because I added the green canvas to the inside.

You still need to mount a Vss-3 up top.
Plugs right into the slave cable port under front passenger seat/ commanders seat.
Just saying!!!
150 million candle power. IR or visible light. Adjustable beam width.
Some guys go with the red Italian sports cars when they hit the mid life crisis.
Other try to find a double breasted mattress thrasher.
Then there are the few,the proud , that go big or go home . They got the sickness for the recently retired MV.
The Eyecon was so yesterday.
I'm sorry but that light bar needs help.

Added a subtle touch to Cowbell today...

Yesterday was mood lighting... err... dome light... installation...

First I took my old homemade battery box from the M715, measured and cut the bracket.



Then was measuring and mounting said bracket



For power, I took the second switched 24v from the de-icer and tested the light





Then was mounting the light and the wire run. I ran the wire from the dash, through the B pillar to the light.





Quite please with the results...
