There's a big event at the Portland, OR expo center Thursday, July 25th - Saturday, July 27th, 2013. I hope to see as many of the guys in Oregon and surrounding areas there!

Unfortunately just myself and something scraped out of my savings account in case I find treasure. Its just too far to bring a vehicle, at least for me it is.

It was a blast. The WW2 War Corresondent display I set up with a collector friend of mine went well (you only see about 1/4 of it in these shots, i could never get a full show of the whole thing), I was pleased with how it turned out, and was certainly pleased with our joint display overall.
We didn't win any awards, though, but that wasn't why we set it up, anyway.

I trailered the truck in the "barce raid" pic. for a friend. Watched the hellcat start up and load on the lowboy, very cool.

Here is the second batch. One very interesting notable, which I did not get a good photo of, was Gama Goat number 1. It was a beauty. Note the 3/4 ton Chaplain's trailer. this event had 8 operational DUKW's in attendance and they put them in the river for rides.
