Hi,

I have read conflicting things on this forum that the M1070 is not road legal in the US due to width. Would this be the width with trailer or can you drive just the tractor unit on US roads without over width permits?

I am asking as I am considering buying one and after getting an export licence shipping it to the UK so if its an over width load it'll be more expensive to transport to the port in the US with the relevant permits.

Here is the UK the tractor unit is not over width for our roads.

Regards,

Mark

The M1070 tractor is 102" wide, which is not overwidth in most of the US. The M1000 trailer is something like 12' wide, which is overwidth everywhere, I think.
