Wow this is what I have been looking for. I recently bought a WT-2206 and have been having problems trying to find anyone who knows anything about them. I have a question about the Allison 3 speed transmissions in them. How do you check the fluid level and what is the pipe running from the trans up under the passenger seat? When I got mine there was nothing there so I stuck a cover over it until I find out if it is supposed to be plugged off or if it is a vent. Here is my truck.

How did this ever work out. I have driven mine 100 miles to a show on a hot summer day with no issuse. Talking to Oshkosh they were built to be run hard all day and night.

Hi all,

New here, Just picked up a WT 2206 from federal surplus with only 3,500miles on it. Came from Pease Tradeport on Portsmouth, NH.

Remanned in 1988. We are going to put a sander in the back and new front plow to use it on the roads in hilly Washington, NH.

How does the Allison 3 speed hold up?

I am trying to write a book on the Oshkosh WT-2206 trucks used by the Air Force and Navy for snow removal I am in need of the following TMs and Air Force TO's if anyone has them I'd like to buy them or copy some of the data and photos from them for the book. They are like hens teeth to find I've been at it a month now here they are . They have the original gas engine data that I need
any help would be appreciated and noted in the book
Thanks

I think I could make someone a happy person as I have a manual for a WA-2206, one for WT-2206,one for Hall-Scott Design Models 855-935-1091-1091-OS 6056-6182. And one for Allison Torqmatic Converters Model TC-500 Model TC-584. If any one wants these. 5732808063
