P/N for TH400 dipstick?

Ever since I did my 700R4 to TH400 conversion, I have been using the 700's dipstick. I know it's probably not correct, but at least it gets me into the ballpark.

I collected a handfull of tranny sticks when I was at the junkyard last night (they gave them to me for free), and I was hoping that one of them is correct. Does anyone have the P/N for a 400's dipstick handy?

you can get a chrome one and repaint it at any auto parts store for 20 bucks or go to the GM parts and get one. all 700's have the same dipstick

Actually... I think the 700 and 400 dipstick are the same.... (been using a 400 one in my 700)

When I did my swap, the 700 stick I had was screwed up... but seemed to match the 400.

That's why I'm using the 700 stick. The 400's stick was all rusted and brittle at the top.

If it doesnt leak or hit anything, and you can get to it to check the level and fill. I wouldnt mess with it.
