Duece is running tip top ready to roll. Picked up a H45 tent heater down in GA perfect for that command tent, it puts out the heat! I do need one or two Gerry cans if anybody has any. I ll be up Friday afternoon and will bring firewood. Bring on the Scrapple

Please have your truck, jeep, AMC Eagle, etc... warmed up and ready to go at 9:30 AM on Saturday morning. You'll also need to be signed up and paid at the office. We'll have a quick drivers meeting then roll out.

Get ready!

AMC Eagle, that is a station wagon, next I suppose you will suggest newer station wagons, like Cherokees, be allowed as well. Any station wagons on the trails had better be green.

Good thing you blew up your white Cherokee. I have the green covered.

Station wagons rock.

That white cherokee was winter camo, that counts. 35" tires, ARB locker in the front and Detroit in the rear with 4.56 gears, I miss that station wagon.

930???? That's like 2 hrs wasted of wheelin time!
Agreed, I am of the camp that we should do 2 runs a day, not 1 large run, and the first run should be 830-1 or so, then back for lunch, then out again 2-6. But we always seem to get a late start, it's hard to get people moving out of camp any earlier due to families, cooking breakfast, etc. So the last several years, the trend has been to start a little later, then do one huge loop, back in time to do the group photo and start dinner before it gets dark.

Shenkman will have to be on good behavior with his son in attendance. So he should have an easier time waking up, opposed to his usual drunken stupor. Maybe starting his truck at 7:30 or so will help wake him up, or we could tie a rope around the bottom of his sleeping bag and literally drag him out of bed. I like the latter option.

Shenkman, as far as what I plan to bring to the party, you can put me down for destruction, terror and mayhem, as opposed to the listed misery.

We rolled out at 815 or so I do believe for the summer rally. ....

Don't worry I'll be there at 730 or so and if I have to I'll roll in code 3 sirens blazing if necessary.

I'm sure the unimog will blow up too.
Don't worry about the Mog, it is tougher than an anvil. You will have enough to worry about each time you hit a rock on the trail and whether it will knock something out of whack in your steering or whether you just punched a hole in your fuel tank. I'll bet you will wish you took the time to install the fuel tank skid plate I gave you, but I am sure it is doing a good job protecting the floor in your garage.

At least it will be running when all of that happens.

Ok so i don't know if it got answered or not.... but what are we running? I'm ready to play if some want to run harder trails. Either way smaller groups is definitely needed I think.

Mostly green. Nothing too crazy. We have some big trucks to fit on the trails. The type of trails we usually do.

If you'd like to go on tougher stuff grab a map and lead a group.
