Paint a Tarp top??

I found what seems to be a good deal on a full tarp'n bow set. Just under $500 for it all, but it's white... While that might be nice in the Texas heat, it will be a pain to keep clean and presentable. Would it be possible to paint/stain/dye it at all?

They paint the camo on them,I don't see why you couldn't paint the entire thing.

What kind of paint will be that flexible?

I find that paint will fade off metal over time & look like it has become transparent. Hopefully it might work better on the vinyl, but I doubt it from my experience.
