We have a small Armed Forces Day/May Day parade in my town every year. I just got the deuce done with the rebuild/repaint so I thought I would show it off. I think there will be a few more deuces in my town soon. Had a lot of people asking me how to get one including the local fire Dept.

I used a 1x2 that I carc'd and attached to head rack with zip ties. Held to 35 mph when we were driving. The car seat actually went in way easier then I thought.

What you don't see in the nap one is I had the fart sack strapped in right there. :)

Parade Pictures

Wow, Those pictures of that little guy really took me back a few years.

My mother recently sent me a black and white snap shot of me about age 4 in 1959 setting in an M38A1 jeep.

Who knew what that would lead to! 50 years later and there is a yard full of MV's.

Treasure those days with your son and take lots and lots more pictures. They will be worth far more the the truck in years to come. Trust me on that.

My father retired after two wars and 40 years in the Army. CWO 4 and passed away in 2002. Agent orange. I really miss him.

All the best to you and your family.
