They're different directions and I was just wondering if there was a reason for that?

I have never noticed that before, good eyes. There non directional tires so no harm done.

They are non directional but, in theory...or like a cleated tractor tire, they'll clean better set up like the rear outter shown above...or the driver's side front from the first pics with the trailer. Regardless...you still got a crap load more traction than I do with the POS NDT's.
