Parker pump

5 years ago I replaced my I tank pump with a parker pump, today I replaced my pump fuse after i noticed it was blown. Previously I was running on diesel, wmo, and gasoline mix. Now I am running on pure WMO. After replacing my fuse I noticed immediately that my fuel pump was significantly quieter than usual. Is this normal or am I risking my pump dieing?

I just a Parker in my Deuce and I have to lean down and put my ear by the tank to hear it run, but it's working .
My old pump I could hear from the drivers seat .
