Parts for mep-804a

I'm looking for governor module for a mep-804a generator. The original governor was made by Barber Coleman. If anyone knows anything about this part or a substitute, I would appreciate the help.

Could you send a picture? The GC's Ive seen were all made by Woodward

This is not correct. As @jamawieb stated, Woodward is the sole manufacturer.

Very cool, never seen one made by them. The Woodward looks exactly the same. Kurt Klopp is in the process of making a new governor control. It maybe some time before its ready but atleast we will have an alternative.

That part # checks out in Fed Log. But never saw one in all the time I worked on the sets. Interesting.

Can the governor control for the mep-803 be made to substitute. I taught college courses for many years things I tried to teach is "I don't know " is a good answer instead of making a fool of yourself

The only dumb question, is the question not asked.

The short answer is no, it can not be replaced by a MEP-803A Governor. Have you started a "parts Wanted" thread here in the forum?
