I recently had all the classic bad PCB issues no dash power no start etc. I removed the old one and something had blown apart inside because it sounded like it was full of rocks when shaking it. Curious what would come apart inside?

That sealant they use is like peanut brittle, only sharper.
Some had broken up inside PCB.
When I rebuilt mine I took (broke) all the old sealant out and used black Aviation silicon to seal
it up.

Yea, sounded like marbles inside.
Rebuild was very easy and took about an hour.
