Had an easy recovery today. Pre-flighted the Deuce at about 0700. On the road at 0750 or so. No problems at all, just the usual WA rain. Got lots of waves and nods and thumbs ups as per normal. Signed in/Drove on base and checked into GL just after they opened up. My paperwork was waiting on the desk for me and within 10 min, Lonnie (Great guy!) had me escorted out to my trailer. Tony, another super GL employee, helped me hook up and sign for the trailer I have no idea why I bought. All four brand spankin' new tires were at about 8 psi. I aired them up using my emergency glad hand/filler hose that came with my Deuce. One little snag......the wiring harness had been cut in about 3 places through all wires. I had no intention of sitting in the rain and wind for an hour splicing wires, so I made a command decision to tow it, as is, the 50 miles home. Got off base with no issues after looking at some items that are up for auction. This trailer really seemed to slow me down alot more than my 105 or 332. I'll have to compare weights. I stopped after 5-10 miles to check connections and to feel the hubs and brakes for heat. Good to go! Made it home no problems and no LEO's.

The good news is that I now have 4 perfect new spares for my trucks, some doo-dads to sell, and a pile for scrap when that gets high again. All for just over the min. bid.

pics include: 3 of the trailer/one of the dash of my truck showing all systems normal/ and one I snapped for Ferro just cause I could.

Outstanding Aaron! Did you have to go through the main gate or did they let you through the Madigan Hospital gate. I need to get my DoD stickers on my deuce. Looks like I'll have to go through the Navy for the sticker. FT Lewis wants emission tests etc.

Being a lowly civilian, I need to do the whole vistors pass thing at the main gate. Not too bad...gives the truck a chance to cool down after an hour at 2300 RPM!

I had to go check my GL paperwork. Looks like I got it at 59,400+/-. Also matches CARNAC's info. Still drives like a brand new truck!
