I ain’t allowed to continue the discussion, but wanted to show pics of hmmwv towing, just for fun, and for discussion. Isn’t that why we are here?

Isn’t the drivetrain identical? I agree, some of these are idiotic, but just as a reference, they did accomplish their tows.

It only takes 1 quick stop situation. Doesn't happen every day but when it does.....

Vehicles using brakes that were designed for those vehicles are fine on the road. But then arguing with trolls who post multiple threads trying to stir things up might be construed as doing something idiotic as well.

Hmmwv cannot be considered as safe as a modern car in any sense of the word. Sorry, but that’s not being a troll, that’s reality. Take a look at crash safety on hmmwv, and then consider crashes between cars of similar modern build. It’s not even in the same ballpark. We all make concessions with safety every day. Nobody gets out of life alive.
