Left rear 2 heavy wires are 24 volt + going forward to the truck. There should also be one there from the slave port ( center pin ). There should be 2 grounds on the right front corner near the slave port. One is obviously grounded to the truck and the other is outer connection on slave port. The 12 volt + should come in near the center on your right also near the slave port ( aft side of the box ) but going forward beside the two 24 volt leads.

24V is the shortest wire, there are 2 of them.
12V is the next longest
The ground is the longest.
I say that, but take this with a grain of salt. If someone modified them, all bets are off. If you have a zip tie holding one of the longer cables outside of the box and making it appear to be long, all bets are off.
There is an easy way to test it. With all the cables disconnected, run a long thin wire from the fusebox to the battery box. Now check for continuity.
The only one that should give you a bit of an issue is the starter wire as it may 'bleed' some signal over the windings from 24v to the ground. All others should only be active with the other end of the wire, unless of cause you have your lights lever on. A light bulb will obviously allow a continuity signal to go thru. But as I said, with everything in the off position, this will ba a good starting point.

Tomorrow I can take one of mine for you. Just got back from the Hospital ER Pancreas is pissed off according to my blood tests . Guess we will see what this turns into.
Thank you. A picture would definitely be appreciated. I may have the answer. I dragged everything back inside a while ago. Figure tomorrow is a new day. Got a couple of things that I have to do early and hoping to get back to it around eleven tomorrow morning.

Hopefully the pancreas thing is something that can easily be controlled or managed. Had a friend with that sort of problem. Ended up on Insulin. Regular doses kept him going for a long time.

Hard to get a camera in there for a good picture? I have Dielectric Grease on my posts that is why there so dirty. Not sure if this will help but might at least show most of the hook up.DSCF6124.JPGDSCF6123.JPGDSCF6126.JPGDSCF6127.JPGDSCF6128.JPGDSCF6129.JPG

It is perfect! Thank you!! My truck is here and work - and for some reason - we are covered up so I may not be able to report in until later tonight. This looks a LOT more like what I have...

Thanks again!

ER told me my CT shows "Basal dependent atelectasis" or collapsed lobes on the bottoms of my lungs! So back to the doctor tomorrow morning to find out what they can do next. Good reason I have no energy the last few months. Still loosing air on one new rear tire? Need to need to find out why after they deal with me. I wonder what is next to ruin my day?

So, in broad daylight the batteries were just stolen out of my M1088 sitting in the parking lot with 3 cameras pointing in its general direction. I figure saying what I really think about people that do that would violate every rule there is here - so I will refrain.

TO MAKE IT EASY: Does anybody have a picture of their battery box on a Stewart with the batteries in place? It sure would speed up the process of replacing them. Please?

Tim
On my M62 Wrecker I have a security cam and can see and hear if anyone is tampering with it. And as it functions on 24 volts, It sounds off some "Quiet?" alarms..
Err, Well actually, 100/200 watts.
A Whelan white noise,
A federal "Wail".
A Galls street thunder.
A carsom Air Horn.
A sho-me Phaser.
With all that noise everyone nearby, And probably all over the village they can hear them, And trying to work (Nick) the batteries is nigh impossible co's the cant hear to even think. ( Not that that type of person can think! ).
The workshops 10 motion activators are hooked into this system.
I had thought of hooking in the fire truck as well, Another 3 siren kits, But that might be just too over the top.

I would love to do that. Sad part is we were here inside the building. Motion sensors and a horn seems like a heck of a plan. If you have part numbers or pictures or scribbles even - I would be happy to spend my time setting it up. I already considered an electric fence arrangement here and there across the battery box and a few other places.

A bomb came to mind first, but I figure that would be a little too extreme and is considered premeditated here in the states.

JD4044M that sucks. Pure plain and simple. I sure hope they can do something to improve your air intake...

As for the leaky tire, best plan is a bit of Joy dish soap in gallon jug to squirt around the bead and valve stem. It will at least get you close to seeing where the leak is coming from. an old gallon jug with small hole drilled in the top works really well for that purpose. Of course laying the tire flat on the ground will get you closer - but at lease you can figure out if it is bead or stem...

Found the leak tonight with soapy water it is coming from a bad O-Ring on the tube going into the rim. The 90 that screws onto it is leaking. I will change the O-Ring and put a little sealant on the threads just incase.

The meds Prednisone are kicking in now if the sun came out I would fix my Leakey tire. Saw the Doctor he said the lung will fill up as my guts empty more. Feeling a little better at this point. Excited to fix my truck so that is a plus!

Where do you buy blemished batteries? (And who is so picky about their batteries that they would pay more for perfectly unblemished batteries?)
I get mine from the Interstate Battery Distributor... Not an Interstate Battery Dealer. Looks like Colorado has 5 Distributors. Link below

https://www.interstatebatteries.com/distributor-locations

I use to get Group 31s for the CUCV there but where like 39.99. I have also got deep cycle there. The do not always have Blems in all sizes in stock but group 24s are a very popular size. From what I am told they are either customer returns or old stock. They will load test the battries and will not sell ones that will not pass. They use a resistance load tester what is best for this IMHO.

I have been using blems in my vehicles for 20 years and have had good luck. I have them in my of my daily drivers and they are both 4 plus years old. No issues side of operator error... (leaving the dome light on over the weekend🤪)
