Plastigauge

Can't find any spec for the rod or main bearings for the plastigauge. Only engines I've done before were small block and the books gave the spec.
Checked 9-2815-210-34-2-2 and found the torque but not the plastiguage reading.

It varies by the size of the journal as I remember. Find an older Motors Manual. It has information on plastigauge use and bearing clearances, maybe on the engine you are working on.

I know how to it, just what is the required tolerance.
Valve lash and timing are all that is on the engine data plate.

Edit: General is .001 per inch of journal size, but I was looking for a spec for this engine.
