Playing with the xm757

My son Adrian and Kelly (gf) visited for a couple of days and got a chance to drive the 757 a bit.
Among other things, I measured the turning circle it made with the inter-bogie drive shafts removed and it was about 65 ft, 15 to 20 ft less than TM specified 82 ft with them installed. I remove them for highway driving (like I did for the deuce with similar, but not such dramatic result).

Yeah, you definitely need a crane for that!

Do you have a trailer for it yet? Were they only used to haul the missle/system? Or other trailers?

Planning on it, but smaller than the HIAB on my deuce and self powered. For all the good I can say about this series trucks, they do need a crane to get the cab off for serious engine work.

No trailer Ken and only used for the Pershing 1A missile.
