Hi everyone I have a 2007 M1151A, I thankfully got it up and running but in this Texas heat I desperatley need the A/C working.
I have the ACME A/C unit as shown (https://www.ebay.com/itm/325277286706).
While the engine is off and the A/C regardless if the controller A/C switch is on or off (located on the dash), when I plug in the air unit it turns on (gets power). Again this is when the truck is off and the A/C is not switched on.

Any help will be great!

if it's getting power while turned off, then either something is wired incorrectly, the switch is failed, or some other component in the electrical is failed.
About all you can do is use a multimeter on the wiring to try to figure out where the power for it to run when the switch is off is coming from.

When You say the AC is on, what do you mean? There is the dash evaporator/heater blower, the rear center evaporator blower and condenser fans in each wheel well…..

even if the engine is off once I plug in the unit the evaporator in the rear turns on and the condensers. Won’t shutoff until I unplug it

so what is it…the Dash isn’t the rear evaporator,
The front evaporator is separate from the rear…your said “rear evap and condenser fans
“The dash” ?????

Sorry I was typing a response out left and retyped a new one. I did not know it saved it.

the dash fan functions correctly. Turns on and off when I flip the switch. The rear evaporator however does not when I flip the switch or turn off power. Compressors stay on too

Is there a TM on these AC units? I haven’t be able to find the pages. My AC doesn’t work either. I know I need frion in the rear, so I’ll probably take the whole thing to an AC place but it would be nice to have the TM beforehand

sounds like your fan relay is stuck on in the rear evaporator, replace it .

the AC evaporators are tied together on the refrigerant, there is only one high and low service port.
You need to service the AC
