I went out the other day to check out another m1031. I saw this beauty next to the 1031 and love it. I have never seen this body type. I Thought it was a 1010 at first till I got closer. I think it may be a Comm service truck. Just a guess.

Thank you in advance.

I do not know where the thread is, but a similar truck was posted on here maybe last year. I thought it was in Canada that it was for sale, but not 100% sure. The trucks are close, but not the same looking at the box. It must be some type of command vehicle with a custom box, but not something in the US CUCV program.

Here are the pictures.

There was a truck dealer in Tampa that had 2 of those a great many years ago. Never really checked them out. They had the same fender flares and was a dually.

The trucks belong to a friend of mine here in MA. I'm going to pick up this truck along with the 1031. I'll start on this one right away. I was only able to look in in the back for a minute (at the time the truck was spoken for) it has good quality, waist high "Lista" type cabinets down both sides and is a dually. Thanks for the interest and thanks K9Vic for the pics. First ones I have ever seen. I'll document the project.

I found this on the net, so this may help to find out more using the NSN #4940012758079.
I have not found anything on if this had a M10xx number. It has to be a CUCV chassis I am sure of that, but what one; M1028, M1008 or M1031?

Thanks for the info. I can't wait to dig into it. i wish I had gone inside to see what was in the overhead part. I did notice it has a ladder like the one in your pics. I know the trucks were both driven back from Burlington VT ANG and parked. This thing will be set towing a trailer mounted s250.
If for some reason they become available. Will post here only

Sealed the deal today for the Dually with the box extended over the cab! Don't think I'm grabbing the M1031. I'll be back in MA in about 3 weeks and will post updated info and pics.
