I don't see what the problem is. South Vieana is a small impoverished island country friendly to the USA, in fact their currency uses the same symbol as ours, but their "dollar" is only worth US$0.075, making that truck about $3000 in our money. It's a great place for a cheap vacation, since their beer, bread, and the like is priced around SV$2.00.

My guess is that their finger stayed on the "0" key too long.
They probably meant, four thousand dollars and not, "forty" thousand dollars.
