Pop up campers for K5 blazer CUCV M1009

Anyone ever build a camper for a CUCV M1009? Looking for some ideas or leads on where I could get my hands on a pop up camper for my Rig? Any pictures, ideas or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The Chalet came on the Chevy K5 Blazer. The Casa Grande was on the GMC Jimmy. Was a dedicated unit. Can be removed, but wasnt really designed to be. Only sold a couple years. 76-77, i think.

There were also aftermarket units made by companies like FWD, Hallmark, etc.

You might be easier to build 1101 or 1102 trailer . Those guys are building really cool/useful campers with everything on and in them for folks just wanting to have more room and be able to drop it once set up and still have ground transportation !

This is a bit late to the post but 4 wheel campers makes a shell unit that would fit your needs. You could finish the interior the way you want.

Did you look at their Project M. Website says starting at $10,995. Granted still expensive. You might look at Aluminum extrusions and build it yourself. That's what i'm looking at doing.
