I am a huge fan of the Mule. Great design and it is super useful to have around. We got a pretty good deal on ours, but it needed a decent amount of work from sitting for a long time. They are not cheap, but then again, people are spending $15k on Gators and the like. Even at $7k, they are a pretty good deal.

Thinking on your comment here, I'm realizing I know a guy who spent that, ($7K!) on a bicycle. Yeah, he's a partner in a law firm; and he does some serious bike racing, but still, right?! He does the Spandex racing suit thing and the whole nine yards. You know the deal.

You make a good point, though: everything is relative...
