Possible M37 Hood Blanket?

Well, I found this in my surplus and have no idea how I ended up with it. I think it might be a M37 Hood Blanket, but I am not sure and had to start somewhere. If anyone can help me identify what vehicle it goes to it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! It has the number 7720711 on the top.

I've got an NOS one with the same part number. It looks like it would fit an m37 but after putting it on the truck it was way too small.
