I wanted to start a fun thread where folks can post pictures of what they see from the driver seat. I really enjoy the view from the seat of my 5 ton towering over traffic, pointed up a mountain side logging road or waiting in a parade line. It's interesting to see what other members get to see from around the world. Show us where you're going or what you're doing - be safe and have fun!

I'll start off with a few...

This was at the local Memorial Day ceremony and on the ride back home.

We left out before the sun came up to head over to Gunnison Colorado from Arvada Colorado to bring back our newly acquired M989A1 trailer.
The picture with Brown Dogs truck and trailer was taken up on Monarch Pass on our way back home.

I've never been in a convoy beyond a few parade MVs, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.
As a teenager I used to make my dad slow down as we passed the convoys heading to the Yakima firing range so I could check out the hummers top to bottom. You didn't see many smiles on the driver's faces with their kevlar helmets, orange ear plugs, high collared flak? jackets, and no a/c...

1 - Texas Independence Day parade, my kids crewing the V100 while I followed in the green M931. Ahead are Pawnshop's M1009 and M1028, and Quonsethut's gun truck.

2 - Heading home from an event on a murky afternoon, Reloader64 and his son driving Reloader's two M35s, me following in the 383-camo M931.

3 - Early morning in Austin, headed to a show. Reloader64's deuce, my M1028A2 pulling the Mule, me in 931

Cheers

Hi

Great photos, and you are right about the view point from larger taller MVs being different. But do you want restrict photos to "Post Vietnam to Desert Storm 5 Ton and Up" vehicles?

Cheers Phil

Another one from Vet's Day 2010 in NYC: proceeding south on Park AV. New York Central Building spans street with Met Life, formally Pan Am building behind that, Grand Central Station on 42nd ST is hidden behind Met Life Building.Park Av Vet's Day 2010 M817.jpg
