Went out with a local Jeep club on their yearly winter run. Wasn't much snow left out on the desert but it was still a blast. Only carnage was a transfer case issue with the Sammy, it's a good thing we were prepared with a trailer. I got a lot of compliments on my M1028 and even a couple of people interested in purchasing it from me. My CUCV held its own on the lava rocks, it obviously wasn't as graceful as some of the other vehicles but with taking different lines and using the skinny pedal it always made it to the top.
