Come on gents. Anybody know of a rebuild kit for these cylinders? The tech manual shows that its a pretty easy job to do, just need the seals, o-rings,packing etc. There has to be something. Anybody know.

Try TM ...24P-2 Pg 265. There may be more info.

Best thing is to download ALL your TM files and open them
and do a SEARCH in Adobe.

But I bet ya it is built w/ off the shelf parts and if you pull it
and bring it to a cylinder rebuilding shop near you they
probably can rebuild it easy. It would not be a bad idea to bring
that shop the exploded view and part numbers.

Good Luck.

My cylinder had a drip and I looked and looked and looked for the parts. The 800 series parts book has an exploded view of all the seals, packings, etc. The seals are a one of kind deal. The manufacturer is CR, I believe, and their number and packings come up zero on the civy market. Zilch. You can buy the end assembles as a unit (surplus) and that is the way I went. The drippy end is cheap, the other end is $$. You are dealing with something similar to "the black box" on the firewall here. My wish is that someone proves me wrong and finds a part kit or civy equivalents.

Well crash, seems all my work trying to find something here is going nowhere. checked parts houses, hydraulic repair shops, etc. so this here was my last hope in asking questions to people on this forum about it. I know some questions are redundant but if you don't ask how the **** are you going to learn anything. So if anybody knows anything on this item of disrepair speak up and if you just want to bitch about it just hold it in. thanks for all the support here.
Seems that some people caan't or wont do a little looking for them selfs. Phone books, freinds , and the guy at the parts store.

Take the cyl off and take it to a hyd shop. They'll be able to get seals based off the size alone. Or if you're up to it, tear it down yourself and mic it, then have a local shop order the seals for you. If that doesn't work, I know mdmorgan has a M923 he's parting out.
