Power steering whine

My rig is a 2006 M1097A2. Experiencing power steering whine when turning and accelerating at the same time. Power steering pump is the style with the reservoir attached. Fluid level is good. I’m about to dig into the TM manual to try to diagnose but looking for tips from you knowledgeable folks. Replacing the pump is probably the most likely scenario, however i know that the system is somehow tied into the fan clutch if im not mistaken? Cadillac valve and tdm are good and in working order. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I would try the 40 steering wheel stop-to-stop PS air bleed procedure before replacing anything.

EDIT: Lift rig so that front tires are off ground. Engine off. Turn steering wheel to lock, and let it sit for a couple of seconds and then turn opposite lock and let sit for a couple seconds. Repeat 40 times. Lower rig. Check PS level. If bubbles are in fluid, repeat procedure.

I found if I don't do 40 times, it still had air in it. I found that if I did not pause at each lock, it still had air in it. If I saw bubbles in the fluid at the end, it still had air in it.

Jack car front up to 15 degrees. Then turn lock to lock 40 times. Then let sit overnight.
