Preparation for PCS to Vegas

Ok, this can fit in a couple areas but I will put it here for now. I am moving/PCSing to Las Vegas from Ft. Benning in May. I am driving my M35A2 with the M105 in the bed and towing my M1009. (same thing I did when I PCSed from Ft. Bragg, NC to here).

I plan on doing the repairs in Jan/Feb and driving the truck to Ft. Jackson, SC in March for the Recruiting school to test the repairs/truck, sort of like a dry-run or rehearsal.

I have a bunch of stuff to do before the move (i.e: replace wheel seals and possibly cylinders and the front boots). What else should I replace prior to the trip/while I have things apart?

Any advice is welcomed. I also heard that NAPA may have the seals for cheaper than MV suppliers anybody have part #s for these or other parts I may need?

Mik...you need to give Tony a list of stuff you need Saturday...he can get NAPA stuff cheaper than you can.

My honest advice is to sell the deuce and the CUCV and buy a nice pickup. When you finish hopping around the globe...you can re-acquire them:roll:

We will assist you at the "Hooch" anyway we can...but you know that:-D

PB Thats one of the reasons I posted. I was hoping some of the guys with previous experience would know what else I would need and the NAPA part #s.

I thought about selling, But as blood and sweat as I have put into this truck, changing out engines, head gaskets, and everything else I would never be able to part with it.

You guys at the hooch are great I couldn't ask for better friends.
