This is what we did.
1. Disconnected Battery.
2. Moved alternator out of the way.
3. Loosen bolt holding canister and filter.
4. Took off canister and looked inside.
5. Cleaned canister out and check filter.
6. Put old filter back and screwd canister up by hand.
7. Finished brining canister up to position by tightening 1" bolt.
8. Put alternator back into position and reconnected battery.
9. Went up to secondary fuel filter and bled system.
10. Started engine up and went for 4-5 mile ride.
Everything seemed okay and runs fine.
We did clean out the pet cocks and checked for water and debris before doing this process and there seemed to be very little if no water at all.
There was a small amount of tiny particals in the bottom of the glass jar.
Now I need to find the correct filters before going forward.
We did not remove the entire bracket or remove the fuel lines from each side of the Primary Fuel filter housing.
Is this an issue, or did we do it correclty.
It seem to only really take about 30 minutes to do?
Regards,
